The Bangkok Pattaya Hospital, located in the Resort City of Pattaya in Chonburi Province, just 15 minutes from Jomtien Beach,  the home of  Thailand Holiday Homes. Was founded on 23rd June 1990. It is one of 13 locations run by the Bangkok Hospital Group and is the main referral hospital for the Eastern Seaboard of Thailand.

It's a private hospital, offering quality tertiary medical care of an international standard (ISO 9001:2000 Certified). Its medical team consists of over 90 full-time physicians and more than 170 visiting physicians and they have the largest Dental Center in this part of the country with 28 Specialists.

About the Hospital: 

"In February 2004 we opened our Dermatology and Beauty Center where we offer Elective Sugery and many Beauty Treatments. The adjacent building, is an eight storey carpark, allowing an additional 800 cars to be parked safely. The top floor has a conference room for 500 delegates, which provides a center of continuous medical education (CME) for Doctors and other Medical Pesonnel from all over the world. Our Heart Center represents the pinnacle of cardiac care in this field, providing quality care of an international standard. It is recognized and used as a regional referral center for other hospitals.

Patients come from all over the world to seek their medical treatment from us. We realize that if you are far away from home, the last place you want to be is in a Hospital, so we provide the services of an international team to assist you, covering more than 20 languages and, in cooperation with the Immigration Department, operates a visa and passport centre. We are continually expanding, and the compound now had total inpatient capacity of 400 beds and the ability to take care of more than 1,800 outpatients per day.  

The rooms provides VIP In-patients a wide utility space as it's merged two rooms into one room. One is the section for the patient, the other is for his/her relatives or friends. So, the patient can have a "private" room in order to recover rapidly. The rooms are fully furnished complete with: WiFi Internet, LCD 32 TV" with DVD player, Fridge and Free Mini bar, Microwave, Dining table and kitchenware. The price of the room starts from 2,200 Baht. It is worthwhile as all the utilities in the room are included in this price. This is an important step in the development of the hospital which now aims to reach for world standards and to be the Medical Hub of the East."

Bangkok Hospital Pattaya has the new 15-storey building - the tallest building close to Sukhumvit Rd. In the 16th floor they have Executive Ward In patients: luxury, the superfine and tasteful decor and appreciate the convenience, and the warm and safe ambience. The hospital beds are imported from France - at one hundred thousand baht each. The size is larger than normal, so that the tall foreigners can be accomodated safely, with comfort. The bed\'s capacity is 204 kg, with electronic controls. By just pressing the button, the patient can change the bed height from 18 inches to 72.5 degree to be able to get out of bed without difficulty. The bedding is made of high quality materials and free of dust mites which can cause allergy.
